How we could do with Daly and Launchbury.

I wonder what odds the bookies have given for the whole Waspies paper mache citadel to come crumbling down, ending up in Division 6 with no one left apart from a few diehard long suffering supporters.

Makes sense to be fair with our leavers and Wasps re-signing Bassett

Some of us have been asking that question for some time, since Richardson has sequestered his assets in Malta so can cut and run leaving the mess to be sorted out by others, and the only scenario I can see is a billionaire or fund buyout.

They'd have to go back to Finchley Road, I mean Sudbury, or rather Loftus Road, no - Adams Park!
Happy days clearing straw from the pitch before the Baa-Baas games! KBO

Isn't Launchbury an Exeter lad? And I've just read he has family working at SP.

Born Exeter but was in Quins academy till he was released at 18 and I thought we are bad at letting go of talent..

England stars Elliot Daly and Joe Launchbury set to leave over 'broken promises' on training facilities and contracts."

(Yes - I know it's the Daily Snail but it could be true!)
The whole article is fairly damning particularly the financial side of things.
There are differences but smacks of Rugby Lions a few seasons ago
Well, if the debt is piling up something has to give I guess. In the company I work for it is always the training budget that gets shafted and not the exec bonuses

Obviously the last two games have shown that hopefully our work in recruitment for next season isn’t finished. For me the squad still looks short of some key players. Have posted something similar on another thread, but think it’s better to discuss who we could bring in here.

14. In need of a class right winger. Aspland-Robinson is probably a more work in progress player. Obviously sad the Cordero deal didn’t go through in January but he is still out of contract at the end of the season.

10. An actual premiership standard backup 10 is needed. Anyone think Myler would be tempted to join his Midlands rivals?

3. In need of some quality THs. Is Jackson and Cortes the right signings we need or do we need someone better to fill the void of Mulipola.

4. With Spencer coming in we still could do with a enforcer in the second row. Mostert would do nicely but haven’t heard us linked to many second rows.

Have faith Leicestertinytiger, I’m sure Hardwick can be a Premiership standard flyhalf

I agree. I thought he looked really good in those cup games. Looks physically ready too. Give him a crack I say. I'd wager he's better than Joe Ford who is in no way a Premiership standard fly half.

I’m very disappointed, my pick as captain and the only one on the pitch before and during the game that was inspiring the team, not Ford & Tom Youngs

Really, really disappointed by this. One of our most reliable and consistent performers in my opinion. Best of luck to him.
