7 carries in space and the wider channels (What Brendan does) so not sure what your point is there, 8's tend to carry wherever.

If you have Wood or Gibson at 7 ahead of him then maybe you follow the MOC school of 7 thought then..

Sorry, but Carley was hugely inconsistent and let Saints get away with murder at the breakdown. Yes, we got away with bits too, but they more than got their fair share of leeway. Burrell spent the entire game, bar the 12 seconds he was on the bench, offside and didn't get pinged once. I know all sides push the line these days, but he was so far off at times it was embarrassing. What do the assistant referees actually do these days?! They certainly don't police the offside line, that's for sure.

What did Worth and Kalamafoni do, the latter was one of our best players

Right I'm off, beer o'clock. Its all Carley's fault LOL and Harrison is an openside flanker! Yeah right.... Worth blew the try with his obstruction and Kalamafoni ridiculously cleared a player out in the red zone

Our lineout was far more costly than Ford, the backline looked good IMO when it got quick ball in space, some hands from the likes of Veainu didn't help at times.

Agree with the backrow balance we looked better v Bath with Evans at 7 and the same happened today.

Also what is going on and us giving pointless penatlies? Worth during the disallowed try, Kalamafoni in the saints 22 discipline.
Oh the clear out that was nothing, wasn’t dangerous, wasn’t beyond 5 metres from the ruck either

TBF it was clear obstruction Worth stuck his hand out and obstructed Francis (who certainly made a song and dance about it)

My main issues with the ref was the props being allowed to go in at such an angle and the breakdown.

Oh please Burrell was never going to make the hit on Holmes in the 1st place, Worth ran an excellent line it’s just a shame that Carley decided to ping us on the obstruction but he never pinged Saints for their numerous obstructions and Reinach was standing by the ruck, he just threw his toys out of the pram

The ref still affected the result whether it was a try or no try

An excellent line which he overran then impeded by pulling on his shirt, that try would've been scored either way in the next phase or two. You're reaching now!
