That's a decent Northampton team.
Very disappointed no BOC or Tait. Having said that we have a good side out and a very strong bench. Great to see YBY back in the mix!!
Looking forward to the game but with some trepidation, as always when we play Saints!!

Can understand keeping near enough the same team as last week. Evans deserves to keep his bench spot. Super happy to see Holmes come into the 23, quality finisher for the last 20 plus Worth.

Not the strongest of Saints team, hoping to smash them having seen their lineup. Very weak bench too.

Interesting that Worth has come on to the bench rather than Joe Ford.....not saying it's the wrong decision, but is this a sign of things to come? Good to see Holmes on the bench too! I've liked the look of him in the games he's played.

I like that team.
We are probably only 3 players short of our best team.

Joe Ford hasn't been in the match day squad for the last few games.

Yup, but after being on the bench (outside of international weekends) for pretty much all of the season he's dropped down and down the pecking order since (from memory) the game after Sarries away (sure someone will correct me if I am wrong). Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that they selected Worth, just more interested that his stock has fallen so significantly in such a short space of time.

"Very weak [Saints] bench"? There are a few unfamiliar names but Alex Waller, Ben Nutley, Luther Burrell could be pretty useful for them.

A tweet from Nick Mullins that I thought worth repeating...

"The pack Saints can’t pick for Welford Road: Brookes, Hartley, Ford-Robinson, Lawes, Day, Ribbans, Wood, Brüssow. No Mallinder either. Just what you need for a trip to the nearest & dearest."

You think? Looks distinctively average to me.

It's a long time since we played a Saints team in this much disarray.

We could still lose but I'd hope the players would be licking their lips at the prospect of playing them in such a parlous state.

Strong team should be dominant in the pack and again have a big impact off the bench, Great to see Youngs and Holmes back on the bench its a shame O’connors not made it, but after his performance last week Evan definitely deserves his place on the bench must have been a close call between who’d start with him and Mapalangi. Also good to see Worth getting the nod over J Ford. I’ll be happy with the win but think we should be targeting a 5 pointer.

Given that Wasps have also got to play Saints, along with Wuss and Newcastle, we have to keep winning and win well if we're to avoid dropping below 3rd.

The good thing is, we can!
In my defence, I was left unsupervised….
