Thomson and Denton confirmed in and only Hamilton rumoured out. How many 8's do we need? We'll still have Mapapalangi, Kalamafoni and Williams to cover 6/8 as well. BOC, Evans and Reffel at 7.

Maybe dependant on Barrow's future?

Not heard this any where else, I think its is just a random rumour started by someone hoping. He only sign for stade at the start of this season, and is listed as an 8 which as mentioned we will have an abundance of next season even if it not the type we where hoping for, and to be honest having watched his highlights he has more than a touch of the opeti fonua good in the french leauge but to lazy for the premiership.

Rugby Paper saying that McGuigan is returning to the Falcons for next season. Good move for all parties I think. Whenever I’ve seen Kerr and Mahoney play, always been extremely impressed so happy for them two to get more game time. Both seem to have higher potential if being brutally honest.

With two international hookers ahead of him plus Bateman, McGuigan like Thacker is too good a player to be 3rd or 4th choice. Kerr & Mahoney have time to improve as those now ahead age, if they are good enough they will force their way into the squad over the next couple of seasons.

What's the general view on Dossers Lad and Taity re-signing with us? Good value for money or should we have cut them adrift and let some of the younger players come through?
Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2017/18 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 3!
I would definitely have kept Tait. He's still pretty good and is versatile. Smith I would have cut but can understand the reluctance to do so and the loyalty being shown. There is still this ongoing debate about whether the game is no longer like that. But given we let Slater and Thacker go maybe it is purely a rugby decision.longlivethecrumbie wrote: ↑Thu Mar 01, 2018 3:03 pm What's the general view on Dossers Lad and Taity re-signing with us?
