If is a :censored: big word for two letters. I'll have a pint of your optimism. That's a big hill to climb in not much time? The improvement rate curve is nigh on vertical.

Re: Rugby in E-Mids in decline?
For those of short memory Wasps beat us in the last minute of the game having just denied us a try by a possible illegal move, it was a good close match that could have gone either way. True they had a player or two missing but so did we, missing players through injury is not an excuse as it applies to all teams, missing them due to international call up can be an excuse as one team can be disadvantaged more than another because its players are successful. Our losses to Saracens and Exeter were to two very good teams that on the day were better than us, as were Munster in the European games, I don't think we are that far away from these teams. There may be one or two changes in the squad for next season but much more is not necessary, wins in the coming Premiership matches may show that this season is not yet over, we will finish in the top six and top four is not out of reach, we have been in worse situations and come through and we will do so again if the fans get behind the team instead of winging and moaning at referees.

John, as ever, you are the voice of reason. However whingeing at the ref is part of the fun of my match day experience. I'm with SC on this one.strawclearer wrote: ↑Tue Jan 02, 2018 6:22 pmYou're no fun! And there you have it!
I wonder which two local boys will miss out, not a coaches son I'd wager!
All those years of hard work and sacrifice finally beginning to pay off!
The Chilean supporters bus will be buzzing!

And the g forces from such an abrubt change of direction might prove fatal.
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

Gaffney was on Look East tonight. He reckons Saints can make top four. Good luck with that one!
