More physical surely is the work of more than a week and basics shouldn't be a problem for professionals of this experience.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure we'll come good eventually but I fear it's too late for this year's champions' cup given there aren't enough second place qualifier spots to go around. Maybe if we crash out of Europe it'll spur on a drive to premiership glory? :smt030
Exactly, basics shouldn't be a problem so can be turned around within a week. Physicality is more of a mental thing so again, can be turned around in a week.

Not enough qualifying places? Every team that finishes top qualifies. We can still finish top.
Physicality isn't a mental thing, you're thinking of an agressive mentality. The point is, why weren't these things turned round this week, or last week, or the week before!?

To finish top we'll need to put 4 trys past Munster next week, prevent them getting a bonus point and probably get 6 points in January or we'll be dependent on other teams doing us a favour or two. I wish I had your confidence, I really do.
Tigers v Munster 4-0
Racing v Castres 5-0
Tigers v Racing 4-0
Castres v Tigers 0-4
Racing v Munster 4-1
Munster v Castres 5-0

If we win the last 3 games and don't get a try bonus point in any of them, we will finish on 18 points.

If the match points go the way as I have them above, the table would look like this:

Tigers 18
Munster 17
Racing 15
Castres 7

Feel that players must start showing commitment to the shirt and cause. Jonny may had no decent possession today which has usually been our get out in previous matches. I agree recruitment was spent on the backs with no front row specialists bought in. Squad is very weak if Smith and tait are our second choice centres, even I wouldn't be quaking in my boots playing them. Rather play Joe Ford in centre instead of tait. Going to struggle with no TV.

I thought Munster did their homework well in never giving the Leicester tacklers the opportunity to slow their ball down, Munster support just took total control of it, and they had runners hitting shoulders phase after phase as a result.
It looks like physicality but it's just good simple quick ruck support and phase play allowing runners to come on to the ball and hit shoulders!
Dan Cole showed the rest how to try and compete at the breakdown when a referee wants a contest.
One decent box kick all evening and that was from Harrison.
Stronger looking finish but the game was over and I suspect Munster eased off a little, very weak defending to concede the bonus point try, couldn't believe it, denying them that bonus point should've been a priority!
A poor performance, Leicester were just never in that one!

I still reckon Munster will get at least 1 at our place next week and they'll probably beat Racing or at least put 4 past them even in Paris (unless that's what the 1 for them there was, and you think Racing will kick them to death).
No, not that one!

Remember, whatever you do to the smallest of the backs you do to his prop, and you can't avoid the rucks and mauls forever...

I know you don't like it when I boo him but how else will he know he's wrong?

Yep, it’s the lack of leadership and general attitude that most worries me. Tom is an honest Yeoman and I love watching him at his best. Just doesn’t have it in him to get in Garces‘ ear or to effect changes in how we are playing in real time.

If as it looks toomua, manu and Owen aren’t available, I feel that’s not a bad shout George looks a lot happier when he has a second playmaker along side him to take off the pressure, although I keep tait and lose smith. I also think malouf has got to start show more energy and attack than any other back. Need a big competitive set of forwards aswell I feel barrow comes back in and Williams for Valentino, and although Ben was poor today as he was last week and seeming is everytime he come back from England and Harrison looked a lot quicker and sharper, I think he stays. I do wonder about Tom though I think he struggles with captaincy it’s to much for him and distract him and I thought thacker added when he came on. I just wonder if we’ll register nau and Holmes for next weeks.

Ben Young's and George Ford did nothing but kick the ball away all game, Tom Young's lost his head, Veianu probably lost teeth, we regularly lost or gave away our ball. We were beaten up on our ball and powerless to disrupt or slow their ball. Apart from that we were atrocious across the pitch. Best forget Europe we will struggle to have any fit players left for and maintain any premiership aspirations.

It just shows how weak the back up squad is. My Premiership aspirations went on week 1 at home to Bath

Doubt Bateman will be in next week, heard he's out for some time.

Matt O'Connor had apparently said that Veainu has broken his jaw.

That is a dreadful joke!

Instead of watching from behind the sofa, I watched this evening's match on TV through a colander.

Ended up straining my eyes.
Happy days clearing straw from the pitch before the Baa-Baas games! KBO

Sounds about right, sadly not a surprise given the whack he took
