There must be something to stop the 'front-loading' of contracts that may be going on here due to the Championship having no cap - or am I being naive?Stephen18 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2017 8:32 pmI bet that will be some more Bristol “cap” getting spent.trendylfj wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2017 7:18 pm Now Banahan may be on the move.

It wouldn't surprise me if there was nothing to stop it happeningstrawclearer wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2017 8:40 pmThere must be something to stop the 'front-loading' of contracts that may be going on here due to the Championship having no cap - or am I being naive?Stephen18 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2017 8:32 pmI bet that will be some more Bristol “cap” getting spent.trendylfj wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2017 7:18 pm Now Banahan may be on the move.

George North to leave Saints at end of season.
Returning to Wales under a central contract.

I don’t think Saints got great value for money out of him over the duration. Probably a decent move for both sides.

I worry for that lad and the way he seems to think he's invincible, another concussion for him could be a worry, if I were him I'd be planning for an early retirement, health first.

There is a theory that he’s going for less money, less playing time and a team who’ll look after him - Lennie Newman, former Saints team manager.

I'd heard that he would be restricted to 16 club games per year.

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non Tigers 2016/17
Looks like he's averaged 26 games per season for Saints. Possibly a wise move for him, it would be a shame to see him fail to fulfil his potential, and there's still plenty of time for another big money move further down the line if he can protect himself.Stu_F wrote: ↑Fri Nov 24, 2017 7:57 pmHow many has he played at Saints?strawclearer wrote: ↑Fri Nov 24, 2017 1:00 pmI'd heard that he would be restricted to 16 club games per year.

"Ross Moriarty to leave Gloucester Rugby"
Their website...
"Gloucester Rugby can confirm that back-row forward Ross Moriarty will leave the club at the end of the season. A product of the Gloucester Rugby Academy, Ross has developed into an international player during his time at Kingsholm but has now agreed terms elsewhere. Gloucester Rugby will be making no further comment on the matter."
So, that's nice.

A local Gloucester rugby journo says today "Just to clarify, Gloucester Rugby have said we can ask questions about Ross Moriarty but have said they won't be answering them."
