Does anyone actually have any news on when our main injuries such as manu and toomua are back and how they are looking for next season?

Re: Injury Updates
Hmm...has an all too familiar ring to it. Based on past experience the cynic in me begins to wonder just exactly how long it will be before he does return.RagingBull wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2017 6:40 pm Manu - Doing well but will not be rushed at pre-season and start of season.

Re: Injury Updates
Manu expected to return middle to end September, Cilliers unlikely to be ready start of season and Dan Cole will need time to recover from Lions tour, otherwise ok.
Re: Injury Updates
...which means we need tighthead back up - which looks like it will be in the shape if an American international whose name escapes me.johnthegriff wrote: ↑Thu Jun 29, 2017 8:44 am Manu expected to return middle to end September, Cilliers unlikely to be ready start of season and Dan Cole will need time to recover from Lions tour, otherwise ok.
Re: Injury Updates
Manu is back in on Monday for the start of pre season train, he is and looks in fantastic Nic, don't worry he'll be back for the start of the season

Re: Injury Updates
Apparently, although Manu is no longer injured, he is not being rushed back so he won't be used for the first couple of weeks of the season. This is what was said at the forum the other night apparently.
Re: Injury Updates
Re Tight head back up as he can play either at Loose or Tight head what's the news on Mullipola's injury will he be fit in time for the new season?

Re: Injury Updates
I understand Logo is ok. We have Genge, Rizzo and Hills as specialist loose heads. Cole, Cilliers, Mulipola, Bateman and Betts for the tightside the middle three able to play both sides. I think we could probably do with another tight head especially as Dan Cole will need looking after this season and Cilliers is currently unavailable due to injury.
Re: Injury Updates
That's correct on Manu - fit but will be eased back in to assess his long term groin problem as well as the knee - suspect he will be there or thereabouts mid September though
Logo was fit at end of season but was opted to have full off and pre season....

"With the bulk of the Tigers players midway through their second week of preparation for the new season, O'Connor says he believes that centres Matt Toomua and Manu Tuilagi, together with prop forward Logovi'i Mulipola, should all be fit for selection when the opening Premiership game against Bath comes along on September." Re: Injury Updates
Cilliers groin injury is a concern he had a groin injury when he joined last season which kept him out for the start.

Re: Injury Updates
Cilliers groin injury last season kept him away from playing until Oct 3rd when he returned to play in an "A" league game.
I would also ask what is the status on the following for this seasons start:
George Catchpole - Centre, who i have as not played since 5th feb ?
Jono Kitto - Scrum Half - Calf Injury, who i have as not played since 19th Mar ?
Tom Croft - Back Row, who i have as not played since 3rd Mar ?
Michele Rizzo - LHP, who i have as not played since 25th Apr ?
Will Evans - Flanker - Ankle/Ligament Damage, who i have as not played since 11th Feb ?

I'll just wait and see who runs out onto the field for the first match rather than get my hopes up.
