Pitch

Today 11:12pm it seems the pitch is having abit of a going over not sure what but the top surface is being cut back.
Thought this was supposed to last 10 years

They top layer and grass and has to be renewed every year, I understand that the actual base of the pitch will last 10 years ?
Not sure how that works with the artificial fibres though.

My guess is the grass grows through them. :smt046

I think the roots grow through them.

The top is 100% natural i believe.

You are largely right...a synthetic mesh supports a traditional turf pitch.
