What's the process they go through to decide the fixture list? Is there a formula of some sort - allocating matches from previous season's league positions, for example? Are local circumstances considered - ie not having Tigers and City at home on same day? Who has the final say - media? Is anyone still reading this? :smt015

And Champions Cup pools, not fixtures, for next season are drawn this Thursday.

Yes, it's more than just a computer spitting out fixtures. Local circumstances are part of it, as are scheduled big events like the double header, big clash, Newcastle's American trip and so on. I think they are sympathetic to whether you had an away trip at the beginning or end of the season last time and whether you were home or away last Christmas. There's a lot to consider.

Oh 7th July. I read it as June. Blast.

As you were.

To be fair, that was the first mistake I've ever made, so I was due.

I apologise profusely for having done a Noddy.

No, you were right first time it is in June - it's just that the draw is on Thursday 8th June - so tomorrow. :smt003
The Champions Cup draw follows the Challenge Cup draw, which is due to start at 13.00 UK time. :smt004

No, I was expecting the Premiership fixtures today. I had it in my head that Premiership fixtures were today and European pools were tomorrow. Guilty of reading something too fast.
