I think the test team could look something like,

M Vunipola, George, Furlong, AWJ, Itoje, Stander , OBrien, B. Vunipola,

Murray, Sexton, Zeebo, Farrell, Ringrose, North, Hogg.

Bench of Best, McGrath, Cole, Launchbury, Warburton, Webb, Henshaw and Watson

To be fair, I want to change mine. I'll put Mako in at prop instead of Healy. :smt023

If I were picking the team:

1:M Vunipola
2:Best
3:Cole
4:Launchbury
5:Itoje
6:CJ Stander
7:Haskell
8:B Vunipola
9:Youngs
10:Ford
11:North
12:Farrell
13:Ringrose
14:Watson
15:Hogg

16:Goerge
17:MgGrath
18:Furlong
19:J Gray
20:Warburton
21:Murray
22:Russell
23:Zebo

I'd also bring: Healy, Hartley, Lee, AW Jones, Krius, O'Brian, Strauss, Tipuric, Laidlaw, Sexton, Joseph, Williams & Halfpenny.

A number of people are choosing Haskell at 7.

Imho if the Lions want to compete in New Zealand they need a 7 who will compete over the ball, against Cane or Savea, who they will get blown away at the breakdown.

Haskell has many admirable qualities, but being a dog over the ball isn't one of them

I thought the same before England's tour of Australia with Pocock and Hooper in their side. Although Aus where out of form I suppose. Would you play Warburton or O'Brian then?

Flankers for me would be Obrien and Stander, though as you say the Warburton for captain campaign is certainly gaining pace, and a back row of him at 6 Obrien at 7 and Stander at 8 shouldn't be dis counted

Haskell should go but he wont start, he'll be great in the mid-week side having played for the highlanders in the past. The main reason above all i'd have him in is he's a great tourist, he's always having a laugh and a joke and that's what you need!

Is it just me that think AWJ should not be picked at all?
Hes well past his best, had one good game in the 6 nations.

Look at how well other second rows played in 6 nations

My team would be

1.Vunipola
2.Best
3.Cole
4.Launchbury
5.Henderson
6.itoji
7.Sander
8.Vunipola

9.Webb
10.Sexton
11.North
12.Farrell
13.Ringrose
14. Nowell
15. Hogg

The way Wales played you can hardly select any of their players. It has to be an English and Irish dominated team
Come on you tigers!

Itoje at 6 :smt009 :smt017

People keep picking Nowell and I like him but I doubt he will tour...doesn't have the pace to deal with the All blacks

I totally agree but there is a very huge flaw in our thinking, Gatland is picking the squad so it will be Welsh top heavy
