Re: Bring on Sarries! - Teams Up
I presumed Matt Smith was injured as we've not seen him much this season!
Jono Kitto is behind Ben Youngs and Sam Harrison in the pecking order at the moment.

About the best team tigers can put out. This bit
Main thing is Tigers are competitive and cause Sarries some difficulties.
up against Barritt & Tompkins might be the issue.Peter Betham and Jack Roberts form a new centre partnership
I'm pretty sure you will get your wish at some point!Surely move Williams to 12 and get Burns on the pitch.

Re: Bring on Sarries! - Teams Up
When you see the number of games they have played for Sarries it's no wonder they play well as a team
Consistency and experience really counts
If you think of Jonno's Tigers you would have seen similar numbers of games played
Here's looking forward a big team effort, I'd love us to win but I won't care as long as I can see them giving everything for 80 mins
Go Tigers
Hoping Jack seizes his opportunity

Cockers really doesn't like burns do he?!
When he's come on he's shown terrific game management from the boot and he is dangerous on the counter. On the front foot he is a dangerous player so it must be his defensive qualities preventing him from reaching a starting position. Cockers does not like players running out the line on the chance of an intercept and burns attempts this fairly regularly. Last week it worked.
I would have played him at 15, Williams, tait and Betham at 10, 12 and 13. Tait has been far more effective at centre when he's given less time on the ball.
Still, will be a good game. Unfortunately I'll think we'll lose.
Come on u tigers!

I'd forgotten how many injuries we sustained last weekend.
This is a chance for some of our fringe players (Roberts and Catchpole) to really show what they're capable of.
I didn't think we'd beat Racing but got pleasantly surprised, here's hoping for another one of those.

Hopefully Tigers can keep Saffas below 50 points.Spicer wrote:I'd forgotten how many injuries we sustained last weekend.

Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

Optimistic then GK?! I'm travelling more in hope than expectation, but if you look at both teams like for like, there are only 5 positions where they are definitely better than us; 12, 10, 8, 15, arguably 1 in the loose (made up for in the tight?), but we are better than them at 3,4,5,9 and 11 IMO.G.K wrote:Hopefully Tigers can keep Saffas below 50 points.Spicer wrote:I'd forgotten how many injuries we sustained last weekend.

Yes it's away on plastic, BUT if we play to our strengths and really believe, then we have a chance.
Their bench however does put ours in the shade!!

Re: Bring on Sarries! - Teams Up
Well just hope that the selected team is up to the job. The Saracens pack is slightly weakened by the loss of Itoje particularly in the lineout we should just hope that Kitch has a good match in that respect. Fair dos to George Catchpole at 23 but Matt Smith must be disappointed in losing out, unless of course he's injured.
Re: Bring on Sarries! - Teams Up
oh woe. Leaky defence, inaccurate in attack, poor kicking for position. Improvement all round needed if we are to avoid a real beating.
Valhalla I am coming!
Re: Bring on Sarries! - Teams Up
Appalling kicking, horrendous passing and missing tackles otherwise we are doing as expected.
Without hope we are nothing, keep the faith, a Tiger for eternity

Re: Bring on Sarries! - Teams Up
Same old rubbish, and it's the same question what is the game plan, trying to play out on our own try line, kicking aimlessly to Goode, it's comical at times, i do think wyles dropped the ball for the first try, why no tmo check? Wayne Barnes comedy refereeing aswell, Goode knock on under a high ball and its clear it goes forward!! Sarries fly back up the other end, cricket score me thinks!!

Re: Bring on Sarries! - Teams Up
It's not really Williams who is the problem. YBY is having an all round nightmare - passing accuracy, knock on near their line, slow delivery, indecision, dreadful with the boot.
