I did say "at least"? Which might kind of hint at the fact we may need some more.MrPartridge wrote:Don't buy this LBP stuff. That won't be enough to see us out of this group IMHO. Looking at the teams we have more than enough to win up there. Time for the team to show their class.
Bookies have Glasgow 4/6, Tigers 5/4 with -2 point Glasgow on the handicap. Always hard to win on the road but this is a nasty group and tonight is probably our best chance of an away win.

The statement made wasOld Hob wrote:Yes it is. We are either a team worthy of competing at the top in Europe or we are one who worries about an away game to an under strength pro 12 side.Iain wrote:No it isn't.fortysix wrote:This match is a MUST WIN to have any hope of getting to the Play Offs, given the mismatches in other Groups.
If Tigers cant beat Glasgow, then its a real battle to win every match from then on to keep up with the other Group leaders..
This match is a MUST WIN to have any hope of getting to the Play Offs
My bold. So he was saying if we lost tonight we have no hope of getting to the play offs. That is patently not true.
Now I believe what you are saying is that we can't win tonight our hopes of getting to the final or winning the competition are in serious question - which is a much more reasonable assertion IMO. However, I'd still not want to hang all that on one game at this stage of the season.
Let's see anyhow, not long now!

Re: Tigers v Glasgow
How many times are Glasgow players going to be allowed to go beyond the breakdown and tackle/hold back/interfere with Tigers players not in the ruck?

Re: Tigers v Glasgow
I'm only half watching but have we just conceded 2 tries to 14 men?

You might want to keep that in the bag until after the final whistle.......kingol22 wrote:Either way, this is a proper performance tonight. Bout time!

BT commentary pointing out the illegal clearing out of men not part of the ruck.

Did anyone else see the hands in the face of Kitch after he shoved that guy over?

Poor show
Paper thin tackling. Poor defence. Tigers? More like pussy cats.
Hairdryers at half time?

French referee's tend to miss some things that we get used to being penalties in the prem, the holding back off defenders and the early drives at lineouts would see Glasgow penalized off the field in the prem, however they deserve the lead after dominating us around the ruck
