With 26 minutes gone, Tait having a nightmare!mol2 wrote:No - It's just that Veainu is the best full back at the club.
The debate has to be is it appropriate (the best option) to play Veainu out of position to accommodate Tait or play Thompstone on the wing and have our best full back in his best position? Is that influenced by the time of the season and the pitches being played on?
It's not an unreasonable thought, Tait remained fit for much of the season but looked out of sorts for a lot of it. Hopefully the new season will see him back to his best or it will be a selection that will be hard to continue with.

I'm all for backing out players, but bottom line, Tait has cost us 10 points in the last 5 or so minutes.

...and with Tuilagi back to his defensive worst, we're going to need a sparkling second half.

Would be lovely if we could manage 5 minutes without a clanger. Here Gloucester, have a few points.

Signs were there against Ospreys. Our defence is clueless. And I aint convinced Manu is a 12

Freddie and Taity probably shouldn't come back out of the changing rooms after HT. They've been woeful.

Just sloppy.
Missed tackles.
Coughing up possession.
Look rusty.

Really poor, total lack of teamwork and some individuals having dreadful games. Need a few changes at half-time
Re: Teams up v Gloucester
Rusty? They look terrible! Slater can't catch a simple pass, Tait gifting points all over the place Burns lousy, tackling lousy no team work just Veianu's individual skill. This team should be ashamed to take their wages. A disgrace.FrontRowUnionMember wrote:Just sloppy.

24-7 at half time and that was truely awful! Manu, Tait and Burns have been woeful and have cost us massively. Watching this :censored: makes me angry.

Not just defensively shocking but Mr Barnes has not given us anything. Afoa constantly collapsing at scrums and nothing given for someone kicking into the ruck despite having been on rugby tonight pointing out that if you make contact with a player instead of the ball it is yellow if not red

Spare a thought for those of us inside the stadium watching this. Last away trip was the mauling at Saracens. This is on the verge of being worse. Did anyone have a decent half? Embarrassed!
