Was rumoured last week, but board gave DR more money and Eastmond wanting out of Bath has started again too. Bath sound in a mess, poor form if they've poached though.

I wonder if Tigers can nip in and steal Bryce Heem from Wuss in all the confusion!! :smt002

I wonder just how much Worcester travails last season were attributable to Ryan. Talk about Glaws, that was one team that failed to achieve under his tenure. He talks a good talk does Dean, which makes for decent punditry, but I wonder just to what level he is capable of taking a team - I seriously wouldn't have thought that his coaching style would translate well at Bath.

I'm with you here Roly. I'm surprised. That doesn't seem like a good fit at all. A really strange appointment if he's going to Bath.

Amongst various rumours flying around, one of the rumours I've seen is that Dean Ryan wasn't happy about having a plastic pitch. If that is the reason, then fair play to him.

I have always thought that Ryan punched above his weight. May be totally irrelevant but my mind goes back to when he played for Wasps. The team was warming up at the club house end when there was the white picket fence and a young lad of about 8 asked him " excuse me Mr Ryan but could I have your autograph please' He looked at the lad, so he had heard him, and turned and walked away. The boy looked amazed, so had Rob Andrew who came up to him and signed his book. RA may not be the perfect administrator but he was polite.

I know I have gone on a tangent but it shows to me at least that he's a waste of space.
Hambo :- He was with England when he was injured, but he was a Tigers player, our player. He is still our player.”

Apparently the row was over money, there was a Warriors press release last week to say Ryan would have "a top six budget" (whatever that is) which would then go up 25% next season. He has apparently assured the Warriors board he isn't going to another Premiership club.
