What price Selby for the snooker next?
A legendary win and well deserved. It'll be a film with Tom Hanks as Ranieri

Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.

Congratulations to the players, owners and long suffering fans.
This would have been like London Welsh escaping relegation and winning the AP this year.
Great story and one that may not be repeated in our lifetimes. :smt038

I'm worried...

I met a fairy 132 years ago who granted me one wish. “I want to live forever,” I said.
“Sorry,” said the fairy, “I’m not allowed to grant wishes like that.”
“Fine,” I said, “I want to die when Leicester City win the premier league.”
“You crafty ****!” said the fairy.

congratulations to Leicester City

I'm a Tigers season ticket holder who's also a Leicester City member so it would seem churlish that we should not congatulate our neighbours on their triumph.

Any chance Tigers can triumph in the Premiership playoffs?
anyone believea TIgers can win away to Saracens?
unfortunately Cockers interviews don't suggest he believes so why should the players
I hope I'm wrong
it's sport you've always got a chance as long as you believe(even if noone else does)

Wonderful news - and even in our resolutely oval-balled household the champagne was flowing tonight. Achieved with true Leicester grit as well....through the cussed never-say-die ethic that has been exemplified by Tigers for many years, this year channelled by the Foxes. Let's hope that next season we see the progression of the Mauger revolution and bring back the glory days to WF as well.
What odds do you think there are for a Tigers/Foxes European champions double in 2016-17?! Got to be less than 5000-1.

What a fantastic sporting achievement, on top of the league 2015/16 and made even more remarkable at 5000-1 against the tide of big spending and foriegn imports.
A great team and a manager of the highest class! :smt038

Congratulations to Leicester football club, great to see a so say smaller club win the league.
One thing that football has got right over rugby is that if your top of the league after playing all the other teams twice you are champions.
The format used by rugby is flawed, the play offs are a nonsense, Saracens will be top and should be crowned champions.
If you want a money making end to the season why not have a cup competition with the top 8 teams playing in a knock out competition.
The format could be 1st plays 8th, 2nd plays 7th etc, with a semi final and final to be played at a ground central to the clubs involved to allow the fans easier travel arrangements.

As long as the 6 nations and autumn internationals are played during the premier league season, the playoffs are here to stay. It's not just about raising money, it's about being fair to the clubs that supply more international players.

Fantastic for the foxes. It's an achievement that will go down in history
