I think that would switch if Carter was declared unfit

Racing are a strong team and will present very much more of a challenge than SF.
There are classy players throughout the squad - you all know Carter and Castro, of course, but there's Machenaud (the current French scrum half), Rococoko, Nyanga (former Toulouse and France wing forward), Chris Masoe (ex Toulon & NZ), Bernard Le Roux, Luke Charteris, Eddie Ben Arous.
They are currently lying 3rd in the Top 16 and would hope to finish in the first 2 to avoid the play-offs. They play at Toulouse this weekend and at home to Clermont the Sunday after Tigers, so their resources are going to be stretched (no more so, of course, than those of Tigers!)
However, if Tigers, with hopefully no injuries against Saints, can field their first choice 23, I would expect them to win by a small margin, as long as they don't give away too many penalties with the likes of Carter and Machenaud to punish them if they do.

You're quite right about the capacity I meant 30,000 the figure of 48,000 was their capacity before it became an all seater stadium.

Andreu doesn't really have the same effect us missing a international winger would..Rokocoko and Imhoff are probably better and how near to fitness is Teddy Thomas?

Still it's something :smt023

Pretty sure Teddy Tomas is out for the season, and although i don't doubt Rokocoko's class does he still have the same wheels he used too? Especially in comparison to Veainu and Thompstone

Thompstone has serious pace, probably in the top 5 over 100m at the club, watch his try Vs NZ Maori for evidence

Which was 4 years ago. Joe R was quicker 4 years ago.

Yeah but the difference is Thompstone still has that pace and is at his prime being 28, Joe R is 32 going on 33 now, can he still do the 100m in 10.6? (Pretty sure that was his fastest time recorded)

Whatever comparisons you make with Joe Rococoko, he's still a top class winger and should be highly respected, as I am sure Racing will be of Tigers' wingers.

Ummmmmmmmm, If Carter plays, his % is 94, stupidly deadly.

As at [present we give away about 10 penalties a match within range, thats circa 27 points already...

So, our Coaches have to eradicate all penalties ----and make sure the front five hold their , end up, so to speak....

Which means Bateman starting...

Message from the club is that first allocation of tickets all sold out. Do we still expect this not to be a sell out now it's agreed the capacity at the City ground is 30.5k?
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

Pleased Owens has got our gig. He was excellent on Sunday and is the best in the business at the moment.
2 massive games in the next fortnight to define our season. Wiggo is feeling confident for both games!! :smt018
