3.15pm (1 hour before Leicester City could win the title)
sadly Leicester City cannot win the title next week and Manchester United are useless Mancs.
Is there a reason other than availability as to why they went to the City ground and not the Ricoh?

Why not the City Ground? It's not that far from Leicester. It could be played at a council park covered in dog muck for all I care. We are in the European Champions Cup Semi Final!

Only by 1500-2000. Why would we want to play at the home of Wasps anyway?!

You could also throw Villa Park into the equation. That holds 42500. Anyway, City Ground is fine by me.

Nice touch from Dan Carter in his post match interview. He's looking forward to playing "Mage's team".

No, it isn't our choice at all. European Rugby choose where the semi finals are played. We have no say.

Pretty sure we have a say (through AP rugby I believe)

As I understand it, we don't. I'm happy to be proved wrong but I'm pretty sure we can't pick or have a say.

Might be corrected, but I'm sure the Ricoh option was discussed in previous pre-SF venue announcements and someone said the game couldn't be played at there so it was never viable.
Anyone up for an M69 final showdown... in... err... Lyon? (5/1 with the Paddy Power)
For those interested in a punt (best prices):
Saracens 7/4, Racing 2/1, Tigers 11/2, Wasps 11/2
We are as long as 10/1 to win the Premiership. Paddy Power offering 35/1 for us to do the double...

Ticketmaster UK (
see here) will start selling tickets for the match at 11.00 today (Mon 11 Apr). It might be worth non-ST holders looking here first as the City Ground only holds approx. 30,500 and there might not be much left over after the ST holders have had their pick on Wednesday.
