Re: Morris leaving
That's Sad for Niall, sorry he is out of contract, others in a similar situation were treated better, I wish him well and hope he finds a new club soon.
Re: Morris leaving
Tough for him, but that's the way sport goes. If he doesn't get long term injured we don't get Veanu in on his short term deal. And Veanu has certainly grabbed his chance with both hands.
Tough choice for the club too - if he stays how long before people are moaning about all the sicknotes in the squad.

Treated better? He is out of contract and we have signed new players in the back three.
Is this another "Cockerill is wrong" statement?

Re: Morris leaving
No room at the table, very odd!
If the Agulla rumour becomes true this would seem an strange decision given that Bell is already off and Morris quality is proven and he is expected to regain full fitness as stated and given that he covers across the back three.

Re: Morris leaving
Shame, one of my favourite backs of recent years, good luck Niall.
"If you want entertainment, go to the theatre," says Edinburgh head coach Richard Cockerill. "Rugby players play the game to win.15/1/21.
Re: Morris leaving
May be he wants to move on? Formidable back three available next year and bar injury should be available for most games and perhaps Niall made his intentions clear. I suspect he will want European rugby so may be he is off to Connacht?
Re: Morris leaving
Makes me sad. I hope he gets fit first of all. Thanks for everything Naill
Re: Morris leaving

If he re-gains full fitness, some team will have a very useful player.
