Would you have Farrell playing for tigers?
Watching the game this evening, After alcohol of course, got me thinking, would I have Farrell playing for tigers... And Yeah I would. I like Burns, but Farrell is a class above. Good kicker and although not as expansive, a whole lot better than Ford. I know he can be devicive with his behaviour, but so was MJ, our best player for a generation.
So just thought I would ask..Farrell for tigers?

I would, reliable kicker and just as creative as OW for example

No.
Those of you who want this "exciting" style of rugby should also be saying no.

Just watching a really exciting 10/12 at the moment - great skill set - playing for the Brumbies. Young chap called Toomua. So much better than that Farrell person and, judging by how well he matches up with Kuridrani, would go well with Manu!
Happy days clearing straw from the pitch before the Baa-Baas games! KBO

No thank you!! I'd take Charlie Hodgson before him
Re: Would you have Farrell playing for tigers?
I'd be very upset. He is a very overrated, arrogant, little gobsh1te. I'd have Williams, Toomua, Burns (when he is having a good day), and, yes, Hodgson over him.
Re: Would you have Farrell playing for tigers?
... and Tommy Bell. Better kicker!

Owen Farrell is a good club player and can cope against lesser international teams
However, he gives you nothing in attack.

A few one-eyed posters on here IMO...
He's not the finished article but I like him. His steal right at the end last night shows what he is all about. Not afraid to put himself where plenty of other backs wouldn't for the cause and a decent tackler too. If Tommy Bell is better than OF I might as well start watching tiddly-winks!

Just because some of us are saying no we wouldn't have him, we are being one eyed?! Perhaps it's because we don't rate him?! He offers nothing in attack and is completely overrated!

Falling out over something that will never happen sort of sums this forum up just lately.
"If you want entertainment, go to the theatre," says Edinburgh head coach Richard Cockerill. "Rugby players play the game to win.15/1/21.

I wouldn't have Farrell, as I would expect he is too expensive and I think we have two good fly halves that suit different conditions and game plans. However, I do (begrudgingly) think he has become a much better player and really helped England win the Grand Slam. I like Ford but he is having an off season and Farrell more or less carried him in large chicks of the 6N. But Farrell is a fly-half and doesn't provide the attacking verve I think we need in a future 12 (welcome Toomua).

I never used to rate him, but he's improved a lot in the last couple of seasons. Ok, not the greatest attacking FH but solid and dependable, and a great kicker. Don't really get the hate for him on here, I'd have him over Burns and Williams (who is a very similar player). He's not a centre though, EJ needs to make some decisions there.
I don't get the worship of Bell on here either. He's not bad, but not very good either.
