Sadly, yet again injuries are going to play a major part in the outcome of a third consecutive season.

That surely means a centre pairing of Peter Betham and Matt Smith with Thompstone and Goneva on the wings and Veianu or Bell at full back with the other on the bench.

Except Thompstone and Goneva are injured.

Bell to full back, Veainu to one wing.... maybe Catchpole to be drafted back in??

We have now used up all our credits, lose this match and I fear we will not for the first time in donkeys years make the play offs. Sincerely hope Tigers can make it yet again :smt027

Don't forget though that Saracens are equally thin on the ground with absentees. There won't be a better time to play them, especially as they'll be getting over jet lag too.

Owen Williams might have to do a Farrell at 12.

Did it last season when AA was long term injured I seem to recall?

Played a handful of games there, think Burns got injured right as another Centre got fit

So we are looking at something like:

15. Tommy Bell
14. Telusa Veaniu
13. Matt Smith
12. Owen Williams
11. Peter Betham
10. Freddie Burns
9. Jono Kitto

I think the forwards need a reshuffle. There's a chance Tom Youngs will be back and fit, however I seriously think Harry Thacker should also be in the mix, considering he's been our best player for the last two games. Therefore I'd go with a forward pack of:

1. Marcos Ayerza
2. Tom Youngs
3. Logo Mulipola
4. Ed Slater
5. Mike Fitzgerald
6. Tom Croft
7. Harry Thacker
8. Lachlan McAffery

Ball carriers and a very heavyweight tight 5. 2 ball winners, and strong line out options. On the bench, I think it's looking very much like whoevers left standing will fill the gaps.

16. Michael Van Veeran
17. Elis Genge
18. Fraser Balmain
19. Graham Kitchener
20. Jordan Crane
21. George Tressider
22. Oli Bryant
23. George Catchpole
Richard Burnett

Yes Pearce has done nothing wrong. I sincerely hope M Williams is ok, if so he should definitely start at 6, we need his physicality.

Fans on the Sorries unoffy are hoping they can scrape a losing bonus point, so hardly optimistic.
