Post by JackFlashJonny »

Always wanted to go to the Rec anyone know is it easy for a season ticket holder to get a couple of tickets to this match?

Yeah you'll get tickets so long as you're reasonably on the ball when they go on sale.

It's a lovely place to go to.

JFJ. I would say you just as well getting them from Bath Rugby direct but I wouldn't leave it to long before you do as they tend to sell out pretty quick.

30 days is plenty to book travel in terms of train discounts etc. Even if not, if you're a season ticket holder and keep your eyes open for the tickets going on sale you'll get a ticket. It's very rare that they sell out too quickly for you to react.

Tigers ticket office will have tickets for Bath, usually at adult prices, no concessions. Bath ticket office will sell concession tickets. Leicester Tigers Away Supporters Club will be running coaches and it will cost £17 per adult, £15 for seniors and students and just £10 for age sixteen and under. We try to arrive about 2hrs before the match and leave 90 minutes after the final whistle. Phone 0116 2101056 or book in the final whistle after a home match.

Great away match - good fans, a beautiful city and always good value even in defeat...

Stay and have a look around if you can - well worth it

Tip - borrow a Glos' shirt and you'll make lots of friends. :smt002

As long as you are not sitting in the roofless stand in the rain. :smt003

No such thing as the wrong weather - only the wrong clothes :smt023

It's nice when the sun is out to be fair.

Nice place to go? the city? yes, the ground? small but great location, the "fans"? no way, a more unpleasant bunch you could never hope to meet! We vowed after the playoff last year that we will never go there again, I've never experienced abuse like I got there in all my years of travelling around the country.

Already booked accommodation for Bath w/e as bank holiday it may sell out quickly.
Never had a problem with Bath fans after going down there every year for recent matches. We did have one idiot in the crowd who got a bit excited when they were stuffing us but what club does not have a few of those?

You are confusing them with Gloucester surely?

I know they all sound the same down there....

All being well you might get the opportunity of seeing us clinch a home semi final and them relegated!!
