Injuries - Latest

Post by DCATsOLDMAN »

According to this morning's LM
http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Leice ... story.html
Manu Tuilagi and Jean de Villiers could appear together for the first time away at Harlequins a week on Friday.
Brendon O'Connor, Niki Goneva, Adam Thompstone and Ed Slater are set to be fit too.

Mike Williams, apparently is due to return from a broken arm for the home game with Irish.

Tom Youngs was rated as "hopeful" for a return this Friday after pulling out of the Sale game minutes before kick-off with a back spasm. But we are expected to have Telusa Veainu (shoulder) and Marcos Ayerza (concussion) back from knocks which kept them out last Saturday.

That's great news, if we can just beat Falcons and Quins we should be nicely set up for the remainder of the season. Hopefully Owen Williams won't be too long either.

I note the use of the optomistic words; could, set, due, hopeful, expected. That said, I am sure by next week we will have a fully fit and full stregth starting first XV. Happy days :smt023

Mike - with all due respect, I am not sure you and optimism are likely to be good bed fellows...

Perhaps Tigers player should be banned from handling sharp objects.
