World's top 100 players

Post by InGuinnessVeritas »

OK, it's according to the Daily Torygraph. How many do you agree with? Only two Tigers make the cut.

Here's the list. Just click on any of the pictures and start the countdown.

Mmmmmm! Methinks that those who put the list together have been a bit generous to one or two of our England colleagues (Marler; Robshaw? Farrell?) and a bit tough on others (Mike Brown?) Surprised not to see at least one of Cole, Parling or YBY in the list.

Saints have six in the list. Quins have three.

If you asked someone who actually runs/played the game the list may well be different. It's a bit like Dean Ryan, nice guy but often talks rubbish.

I suspect this list list was selected by ex-backs. I only counted two tight-heads in the whole 100.

Digby Ioane "has proved a hit in Paris" - he was just listed among the worst ever top 14 transfers.

I find in pointless having props, full backs etc in the same list.

Pointless article, really. Guessing it was a slow news week (until this afternoon)!
