Austin Healey

Is it me or is Austin's commentary in today's match very pro Wasps and quite negative towards Tigers. You'd never believe he is an ex Tiger player. Even Dayglo is saying nicer things about Tigers than Aus

He's just attention seeking - a lot of children do it. :smt002

Some really pathetic comments by healey, was like listening to good old Stuart Barnes on sky, well done the lads, was 16 v 14 in that second half, another Barnes giving out some shocking decisions, final scrum was a joke!!

Think with Austin he's more clearly a Tigers fan than any other commentator but as such unfortunately goes out of his way to be neutral when commentating but goes too far and criticises too harshly....for example not just Healey but I'd love to see the tackles Goneva has been carded for this season and some of the tackles against him that haven't so much as been mentioned!
I may be bias but I don't think I'd have sent Goneva off for any of his tackles this year though think a couple on him perhaps deserved a yellow!
Love to see it clipped if anyone is clever enough to do it....I may be completely wrong, first to admit that I'm very Tigers!

Interesting piece in the Torygraph about Tigers. I think he is red green and white through and through but as one of the most creative Tigers of all time he must be frustrated with the lack of tries this season.

Austin, AKA the Leicester Lip, is obviously disappointed at the way we have played this season, and he knows the disruption that our injuries have caused.
However, he is a Leicester fan, he was a great player and is now developing as a pundit/commentator.

There are worse, a lot worse, than him!

To be fair all of them would be a lot better if they could just stop talking for a few seconds when the ref is talking.

What is the point of the ref's mike if every time he speaks one of them decides to give their opinion instead.
