He is an example to any young player out there, and by young I mean in his case under 35. He has continued to play, not because he has to, not because he has been told he has to but for the simple reason that he loves the sport. He has committed a life to it and it in return has treated him well but that all develops from the love of the sport and then hours and hours of training. There will be few his size, shape and position that will reach this feat!

Out of interest and going off subject slightly, how old was Julian White when he retired?

On Thorn, a superb signing and I for one am extremely pleased that I had the opportunity to see him play in person. His on pitch presence is something to behold, an old school, no nonsense, enforcer.

What we don't see is what he brings off the field. That, according to the players, is worth its weight in gold.

If Carling made silly questions then this was the the silliest in the world

I just wish some of our players had put in the commitment that he has - the word legend is over used but Big Brad has seen it, done it in spades. I admire his commitment and the fact that he hasn't just turned up collected his money and moved on. His influence on the rest of the team is not to be underestimated.

IMHO Yup he's a great of the game

Do I get a prize?

As I said, what a great player. And I too wish we had signed him 3 years ago… when he was fit. I'm sure he has helped some of the other squad players and I agree it has been a pleasure to see him at WR. As the biggest rugby club in the country I'd just like to see us signing the likes of Brad in their prime of their career not their twilight year.
