So Matthew Tait leaves and Tom Homer is exiting London Irish but no club announced. Hmmm
Seen as we are just about the only club in the NH to not announce signings, is he our new fullback? Handy player who had huge potential until his nasty injury and a great boot. Could be a gem in the making!

Bath apparently.
Well I hope so.
Would rather Morris went FB than signing Homer.
(This could back fire if we do sign him)

Agreed, I think that Morris is a Geordan Murphy in the making!RagingBull wrote:Bath apparently.

Re: Tom Homer
I would love to be of this mindset but I cannot see him ever having half the impact...Will happily be proven wrong though after a little moaning if he is to be our first choice 15floridaboy wrote:Agreed, I think that Morris is a Geordan Murphy in the making!RagingBull wrote:Bath apparently.

Re: Tom Homer
Morris would be my choice as the next FB but I like the sound of Homer coming to us as he does the basics right. Good kicking at goal and out of hand, can tackle (could be improved) and scores a few tries. He doesn't have the Je ne sais quoi of others but could be made into a gem. Remember we do have a habit of making something from nothing.
Re: Tom Homer
Wouldn't be surprised if we signed Homer, young all rounder with a bright future, if his new club isn't announced before the end of the season then we must be favourites, Would look at Morris first choice next season with Bell and possibly Homer backing him up.
