Re: Ten Signs You're a True Tigers Fan
I failed the test I only managed 9 out of 10. I wanted to go to Timo's but never got round to it.
Of course this is my own opinion and other posters may have a different perceived factual viewpoint.
Re: Ten Signs You're a True Tigers Fan
In all honesty - 8 out of 10 - didn't go to Timo's nor do I automatically think now in letters but still miss them;
Hehehehehehehehe

8.5 Never been to Timos but claiming half a point for Paris even though dad went on my ticket.

I don't necessarily think in letters, but as a nod to the past I still think I have to pick my greatest XVs in letters. It was just something that was nicely unique to us.

I'm sorry; I got lost with the question about the THREE stands.
To me it is the Crumbie, the Members and the mud bank opposite the clubhouse (where the players got changed).

that is very funny - 8 for me, no Paris (working) and no Timo
Less is more....

I can think of a few Bristol supporters who might disagree with you.Iain wrote:I don't necessarily think in letters, but as a nod to the past I still think I have to pick my greatest XVs in letters. It was just something that was nicely unique to us.

Bristol did it completely wrongly though. Didn't they start at A for 15, or something like that? And Bath also had the superstition of not having a 13 in their team, didn't they?
8/10 I didn't go to Timos nor could I manage the 2001 final. :(

And of course you believe black is white and red and green will rule for ever.
What we lack is a Tigers song, will have to include plenty of menacing roars and frequent panting, folloed by a swig of beer, Tiger Bitter and tiger Ale steak pie of course.

Why are posters talking about Timo's in the past tense? Now that Castro has left did he take his restaurant with him?
It's still on the web site so I was thinking of going there on Saturday after the game.

I think people are possibly referring to the one in Market Harborough which, I believe, closed a while back.Nailsworthstiger wrote:Why are posters talking about Timo's in the past tense? Now that Castro has left did he take his restaurant with him?

Cheers IGV. Their website needs updating then as it still advertises the MH one.
