Earlier in the season, with all of the injuries, it looked like we wouldn't be here.
WE ARE HERE.
We have a full squad, a lot rested through injuries, so making us fresher than ever before. We have the psychological advantage. Ok so Saints have played marginally better than last season and come above us, but this game is what Tigers play for. Every season they eye these last two games, they know how to approach them, get their minds in the right place and give it their best shot. Their strength of character at this time is rock solid. Make no mistake, this will be a phenomenal game and a right royal rumble, but I believe we definitely have it in us, physically and mentally, to come away with a win.

As the saying goes ... "C'mon you Tigers!!"

Sorry for being a doom monger but I think this a game too far this season for us.
We WILL win silverware next season though!
Not sure I agree (apart from the silverware bit). I think our season only really started after Christmas and another 5 games would see us in second.

We have a full squad
Not entirely correct IMHO. All teams pick up injuries in the season and we are missing a number of important first XV players: Cole and Benjamin would start if fit for me. Also not convinced Croft is ready for squad (let alone 23). Mafi looked a better bet on Saturday for me.

Part of the key to a win on Friday for me is can we get everyone playing together. The side has been unsettled recently and although it will be strong on paper I hope we have been working hard on the fundamentals this week - particularly defence, scrums, line-outs and kick-chasing.

It also feels like a few players aren't on their 'A' game: Tait was brilliant last year evading tackles etc. but his attacking has evaporated this year. Manu has been OK since his return but a bit hit and miss. Scully is great, but I'm not sure his attacking prowess will worry Saints too much.

If it all comes together on Friday I'm confident we will turn Saints over, but if the fundamentals aren't right and the team don't gel they have more than enough quality to end their drought against us.

All I can do is sit back and cheer the boys on. I hate watching on the telly, as I take every tackle in my mind (does anybody else do that?)and am exhausted at the end. Never get MOM though. :smt038

I will be one happy little **d if we do it, and will be looking forward to next season if we don't.
I could agree with you...but then we'd both be wrong.

It is good news that Hartley should be fit for the NZ tour http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/27397624 - we need a fit hooker for the first game and those playing in the premiership final won't be considered. :smt045

I can't watch on TV. I also have problems with politicians on TV. In Both cases I end up jumping around the room either with excitement, or in the case of some refs and all politicians, hurling abuse (at least I have never shouted 'liar' at a ref :smt005 ).

Back to the game then I'm assuming that Jumbo will announce the team today with the match being on Friday?

Midday presumably. Or about three minutes to by Jumbo.
I am neither clever enough to understand nor stupid enough to play this game
