Tigers v Saints at WR?

Post by MrPartridge »

Anyone know if the SF will be shown at the club on Friday? I'd assume it would be given the importance of the game.

Depends whether you need a licence to show events on a big screen. If you do the cricket club may object as they have a T20 that evening and might see it as a threat to their attendance.

I'll be there…. although can you believe £2 to get in… redeemable against drink/food purchases.

Who was seriously going to go tonight and not buy a drink or food? Is this £2 entry fee really necessary, or bureaucracy gone totally mad!

I'd have preferred a £2 donation to the Matt Hampson Trust for all who attend…

Utter muppetry!

And I bet they'll still run out of cider and change before the end of the night :smt003

Not sure if you're being serious MrPartridge - but it's so they can gauge interest I believe.

It may be a requirement for Clubs to charge an entry fee. That's not just 'rugby clubs' but any Club enjoys a different tax status than pubs. The requirement though is that you have to charge a membership fee or an entry fee.
