and it's goodbye to.......

Post by Soggypitch »

Boris, Rob H and TTTE all playing their last game for Tigers at Welford Rd.(Barring some freak results!).

They all deserve a good send off, they have given their absolute best to the cause and go with my very best wishes!!

I better reply and say +1 otherwise I might be accused of not supporting the team and the club. Can I do +1000 for everyone else on the forum and save them sometime :smt002

You're getting the hang of the forum then, ourla :smt023

I know it's on another thread but don't forget Toby as well. Big thanks to all of them and good luck.

Boris, above all, has been utterly dependable and quite outstanding for us. In most other clubs I suspect he could've been No1 LH.
I think he will have fun in Newport, but have to get used to the incessant rain and the lack of fans.

Isn't Bowden also leaving?

Is he? I thought nothing had been announced yet. He certainly MIGHT be.

Good luck leaving players. Newport is a good rugby town to play for.
Some really good talent leaving and moving on. Farewell Chutes too, does he still hit his head with a cricket bat I wonder or was that just a myth?

Good luck to all but Chutes more than anybody has been an outstanding Tigers player and part of the community. Hopefully he has been signed up for Tigers' programme contributions next season.

Goodbye and good luck to all departing Tigers. All the best in pastures new, except against us!

Special mentions for Boris and Chutes. Front row boys and two of my favourites.

On BBC Radio Leicester on the way home after the Saracens game today when asked about players leaving RC mentioned Dan Bowden - fairly reliable source I'd say!

He marks - not that you won or lost - but how you played the Game."
