I think Diamond only looks good this year as he performed so poorly last year. Bearing in mind the squad they have they should be a top six team.
Much as I hate to admit it McCall would get my vote. If you took the best 15 individuals from Tigers, Saints and Saracens I doubt there would be many Saracens players in there. Their strength lies in how they play as a team which you have to credit the coaching staff for.
A bit surprised Ford didn't make the list.

Why is Cockers on the list? He will never get it. Last 3 winners McCall, Baxter, O'Shea. Who has got their team to 3 finals in those years?
Of course this is my own opinion and other posters may have a different perceived factual viewpoint.

Cockers probably won't win it, but he should, the pressure to get to the playoffs for a 10th consquetive season and as defending champions with the damaged players we've had. Cockers is clearly the best at getting the best out of what we've got.
