Firstly hello everyone as this is my first post thought it was only right to say hello.

Regarding Laurence Pearce He was at welford road on Sunday watching the wasps game, sorry I haven't got a source apart from my own eyes. He was obvious to spot as I stood in the final whistle bar as he was on crutches and headed straight to the double doors allowing him through to the hospitality area in the gnc stand. He does look a big number 8 as people have said he has been out for a lot of the season with a knee injury though so if he has signed for us which I think is pretty likely it might be a while before we see him in action.

Another point is regarding bai, I don't know if anyone else saw scott Hamiltons twitter when he was chatting to chutes, they where on about age

The monster 8 was Opeti Fonua. Unfortunately, he was only available if Bayonne were relegated and then a number of quality Treviso players came available so it looks like we got in early and signed Barbieri, as well as Girhaldini and Rizzo

Sad news that. Whenever I've seen him play he's played well, not the biggest but a solid grafter who would never let you down. At the moment he's probably a bit too small for second row so I imagine he will end up playing back row in the future. Downside of professionalism really. A youngster can be as talented as you want but if he isn't big enough it's not fair on anyone to play him. Good luck to him. I hope he has a long and fruitful career.

Regarding Fonua - I have it from good sources that his move to Tigers was being seriously looked at but he wanted £250K per year.

So, realistically, as it currently stands, the squad looks to have taken shape for next year, pending the possible 2/3 more exits meaning we may have to add one or two more.
Remaining issues...
If Matera goes, will another back row be sourced, or will we go with what we have, Croft, Mafi, Salvi, Gibson, Crane, Barbieri & Pearce.
If Schuster is released, I suspect another prop will be signed.
If Bowden/Hepetema/Pohe go, will another centre be recruited. Personally if two go, I think the third would stay knowing he has jumped up the pecking order. Which one, I do not know. But at a guess, Bowden is the most likely to go, then Hepetema and/or Pohe may stay. Potentially Pohe to go on a season loan somewhere?

Intentional - there's been word both ways.

Obviously anyone can fit in either but where there's been a press outlet leaning one way or the other I'll stick it up where possible (naturally I do miss a few though!).

Pohe to Clermont is being mooted around.

Unclear whether a permanent move or a season loan like Twelvetrees (but to a different playing culture where we have a lot of links).

Yeh there a loan deal with Clermont we send some players to train with them and they send some to us.

Also, didn't the initial rumour around Pohe suggest he was under contract? Therefore wouldn't be allowed to just leave without Tigers say so. Sounds like a loan if true. Broaden his horizons, as. Don't see him unseating Fofana anymore than he will Allen at this stage.
