All I ask for is a performance worthy of the club, worthy of the fans and worthy of the players themselves.
All to gain and nothing to lose.
Play your hearts out boys, do an old man proud.
And kick some French backside.

If you don't make it I'll still love you!
:smt023 My sentiments as well. Make us proud, whatever the result.
I could agree with you...but then we'd both be wrong.

Go for it boys.

Of course this is my own opinion and other posters may have a different perceived factual viewpoint.

With nothing to loose this could be a great game. I don't think Deacs would be an impact sub so he had to start. Cockers must have given thought to starting with Flood for the experience - and to having Matera on the bench. Its great to have such decisions to make. I do think we have every chance - it will make a fantastic statement if we can pull it off.

At some point their home record will go. Why not to us who if we were sponsored by Carlsberg are the the best club side in the world :smt023

Go TIGERS - I support you through thick and thin. And for those who know me I'm not talking about my waistline or hairline :smt005

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall up with our English dead.
In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility:
But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger;
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard-favour'd rage;
Then lend the eye a terrible aspect;
Let pry through the portage of the head
Like the brass cannon; let the brow o'erwhelm it
As fearfully as doth a galled rock
O'erhang and jutty his confounded base,
Swill'd with the wild and wasteful ocean.
Now set the teeth and stretch the nostril wide,
Hold hard the breath and bend up every spirit
To his full height. On, on, you noblest English.
Whose blood is fet from fathers of war-proof!
Fathers that, like so many Alexanders,
Have in these parts from morn till even fought
And sheathed their swords for lack of argument:
Dishonour not your mothers; now attest
That those whom you call'd fathers did beget you.
Be copy now to men of grosser blood,
And teach them how to war. And you, good yeoman,
Whose limbs were made in England, show us here
The mettle of your pasture; let us swear
That you are worth your breeding; which I doubt not;
For there is none of you so mean and base,
That hath not noble lustre in your eyes.
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'
Whatever you do, don't argue. We might never hear from you again.

As has been said, their record has to go at some point and I think we can be the ones to do it. Were playing well of late but to win this, we have to keep the penalties down to nothing. We cant afford to give away silly 3 pointers and with Parra... he doesn't miss too often!

There's definitely a hope - a fool's hope, but a hope nonetheless.

Clermont have lost recently to Grenoble, Brive, Bordeaux and Bayonne - all away from home of course - so they are beatable. A lot will depend on moving their pack across the pitch and trying to isolate one of their big boys - they have three 35+ year olds in the engine room so there is a definite area to exploit if we can keep the pace of the game up. Mulipola has a huge job as well to try and set a platform against Domingo.

It's not often we get labelled with the tag of potential 'giant-killers' - I can't wait to see how it fits.

My preview and predictions for the game are up here: http://www.ruckedover.blogspot.com

Watching online from here in Florida, originally from Leicester. I must say Leicester are playing terribly. Clearly the big boy stance of Clermont is getting to there heads early. Tigers are playing nothing like they did in N'hampton. Kicking the ball way to much, missing easy tackles, and just giving them way too much space which is not what the tigers are about. Disappointed so far.

Rolland is doing us no favours though. No surprise there I suppose.

The yellow card for Waldrom was stupid, warning from the ref a couple of minutes earlier....

22-16 FT. Turned over 3m from the line. Parra falls over holding his face. Rolland allows clock to run for 20 seconds before stopping it. James kicks it out Clermont win. I don't know what to say......

I am officially still proud of my team.

Owen Williams.........you're not bad.......for a Welshman!

Great heart, Great effort, Typically Tigers to a man.

I just hope there's not too much of an injury price to pay.

You'd have been really happy with a losing bonus point in a league game against that lot.

Clermont and Allan Roland V Tigers, outstanding second half display by the tigers, Clermont were good but how can a ref and touch judge miss a line out thrower from sticking his foot on the pitch everytime he threw in and it was never straight, we need to win the group and get a home semi next year if were going to have a chance!!
