The world record was 350 - 0 in the French 3rd division.

On the wild assumption they didn't kick any penalties or drop any goals, thats 70 converted tries under the old points system.

Assuming the referee played broadly speaking 80 minutes, that is a converted try every 66 seconds approximately. How is that possible. :smt017

Answer "Dorset K-nobs" & "Dorset Breakfast Cereals"
There is a large catchment area in Dorset - Exeter to the west & Baff to the north and not so many teams in the area.
Dorset K-nobs are white or brown baked bread rolls the size of golf balls from Morecomblelake - not censorable!!

Maybe the opposition sticking to the normal 15 players made the difference

They ran in 32 tries, scored by 16 players, during the match in Verwood.

seems a little harsh to me- couldn't the ref/ Dorset skipper have agreed to put the oppositonn out of their misery by blowing up a little early? (like 70 mins early!)
