Clermont travel?

Post by wolverhampton_tiger »

Any ideas on getting to Clermont-Ferrand cheaply, direct flights are already £400 and only Air France fly there from what I can see?

Anyone have experience or suggestions of alternative routes? Was thinking of flying to Lyons and then train but the journey according to the SNCF website suggests its 5 hours!!!!

The ground is about 1 mile from the city centre and most of the larger hotels although the old centre of Montforrand is close by the stadium.

In the past most tigers fans have congregated at Bar Pascual in the pl de la Victorie right next to the cathederal. This is a real good rugby bar that shows all available matches on big screens and one trip the owner produced two large baskets of oysters and gave them away to all
