I think Lamb burnt his bridges after the A game with Gloucester.
I think AA will be given next week off as well apart from a short appearance to warm him up for Ulster.
worried about Flood at 12, as I am not sure he can tackle as well as a regular 12 and could easily get injured.
Hope all goes well. Looking forward to the game.
Clearly Williams is ahead of Lamb and I am sensing he may depart at the end of the season unless there is a dramatic change in his fortunes. Anything is possible but its not looking good for Lamb.
I agree with your comments about Lamb. He has been given chances to prove himself recently, and has not particularly shone through. Williams had a good game last week, and seems to be ahead at the moment.
There have been rumours on other threads about Lamb going to Worcs, and it would be no surprise to me if this were true.
The full five points would obviously be nice tomorrow, but that's going to be a big ask against a strong Bath team, especially given the conditions. Imo, it's going to be a proper scrap, and a win - any win - would keep us on track.

TBH Flood and Williams will be swapping positions all the time in my view.
Like Murphy and Stimpson.

Re: Leicester v Bath
Goneva will need to tackle like he's never tackled before to help Flood/Williams out! I am worried about Flood playing at centre he is a little fragile at contact time!
Would take a 3-0 win any day for this match:smt023

Re: Leicester v Bath
Flood is fragile at times but he is a very good tackler.
and Bath don't have the biggest of 10,12,13 combo's.
it will be the pace that will truly matter for the bath backs.

Re: Leicester v Bath
Agree with others - Lamb is 'out of the picture' unless injuries bring him back into contention.
What I like about Williams at 10 is that he has a bit of size for a FH so move 1 I'd try and run him straight at Ford. Having said that, if you were on the Bath coaching staff your first backs move would be aimed straight at Flood given he is (a.) returning from injury, (b.) arguably not in his best position and (c.) he has never been the best tackler!
Hope the weather doesn't ruin all backs play tomorrow… it looks like an interesting encounter!
PS Credit to Saints - back-to-back wins over Bath and Quins. IMHO We are chasing 3rd spot now so tomorrow is massive given that Bath currently hold that position...

Just get Goneva running at Ford and see how that goes.
Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

In my defence, I was left unsupervised….
