Ben Cohen on Strictly Come Dancing

I know not many will be watchers of this show, and truth be told this year doesn't appeal much to me....but Ben Cohen? They always have a sportsman or two, but really surprised Mr Cohen is taking part. Perhaps he thinks it will bring him the kind of attention that Austin, Daws and Martin Offiah got....

Good luck to him. He has done some great work in the USA, highlighting homophobia in sport. I 'doff' my hat to him.

Good Luck to Ben and he will certainly be worth watching !! I used to love watching Austin dance so I am hoping that Ben will be as good

I suspect he won't be that good - adequate and he'll improve but finesse and subtlety were never his strengths in rugby so we shouldn't be surprised if they not in the ballroom.

Pity that the producers didn't give him a taller person to dance with. He has to bend to get into hold with Christina that spoils the look of the dance. I think he will get better with the steps in time but there is nothing that can be done about the partner.

The tallest of the pro dancer ladies was Natalie Lowe who is injured, and then Erin Boag who has left.

I didn't know that Ben only has 50% hearing, he did okay this week but doesn't dazzle and I doubt he'd go as far as Austin or Matt Dawson did.
