Tigers v Ulster friendly
I'm guesing a team closer to the side that will start against Wuss for this match.New signings on the bench maybe?
I don't think too many are travelling over from Norniron for this one, but lots of interest for the Heiney later on.

"If you want entertainment, go to the theatre," says Edinburgh head coach Richard Cockerill. "Rugby players play the game to win.15/1/21.

Re: Tigers v Ulster friendly
I'd like to think that pretty much the starting xv against Wuss will be starting against Ulster. If not, a few on the bench then. In my mind, it may only be a pre-season "friendly" but at this stage we should be having a consistent starting xv
Re: Tigers v Ulster friendly
I fear that the starting xv will not be as strong as some folks think. Tigers have notoriously fielded under strength teams in pre season friendlies against irish teams at Welford Rd if nothing other than to mirror the weakness of the visiting team, this is why I stopped going to them.
That said, as the match is on my ST I shall go this year but more in hope than anticipation.

Without hope we are nothing, keep the faith, a Tiger for eternity

I'll have a guess at...
15. Morris
14. Thompstone
13. Bowden
12. Allen
11. Goneva
10. Flood
9. Mele
1. Mulipola
2. Hawkins
3. Cole
4. Kitchener
5. Parling
6. Gibson
7. Salvi
8. Crane
Thinking Cole and Parling may have to play. Bowden probs won't be 13 but with Tait out I don't believe they'd play Lamb at full-back.

Re: Tigers v Ulster friendly
It's been announced here the Tigers will be wearing the new alternate strip at home on Saturday against Ulster.
So, since Ulster normal strip is predominantly white, it means both teams will be wearing their away strip. I realise this is nothing more than a blatant advertising plug for the new shirts so, in line with the club's new policy, I shall download a PDF document containing an image of the new alternate shirt and photoshop a picture of my head and arms onto it.

Whatever you do, don't argue. We might never hear from you again.

...and then email it in, rather than attend the game in person?

Re: Tigers v Ulster friendly
A good marketing ploy for the new shirt would have been for it to have been on sale before fans left for Jersey. I know of seven fans that would have bought a shirt for the trip including myself. There may have been more, they may of course still purchase a shirt but they may well not do so not everyone goes to all away matches so use of the shirt is limited.
Re: Tigers v Ulster friendly
I have not received my new season ticket yet, have the club just updated my current card or do I need to get one for Saturday?
Re: Tigers v Ulster friendly
Hi TigerLad, if you haven't changed seats, changed price band and havent damaged your card in frustration during the closed season, then you shouldn't need one.
At least according to this.... http://www.leicestertigers.com/news/175 ... h-jQsu9KSM
So, please, don't blame me if the turnstiles refuse to budge on Saturday

In the past as far as I know, they update the card you currently have once you renew etc.

Ulster don't appear to acknowledge our game tomorrow. Presumably it's going to be difficult to find out what sort of squad they're sending on that basis!
