Re-branding the "Caterpillar" stand
I have moved my Season Tickets for the coming season from the Upper to Lower tier of the Cat stand, but had yet to receive the new cards. So on Tuesday I called the Ticket Office to make sure I had them for the Ulster match and was told that due to the re-branding of the stand, the new tickets would not be issued until the contracts have been signed etc.
Was anyone else aware of this?

Re: Re-branding the "Caterpillar" stand
Me and Mrs O had a copy of one of the magazines sent out by Lumbers about two months ago and there was a large advert in there from the club seeking a new sponsor for the Cat so i've been waiting for an official announcement for sometime.
I've also picked up extra tickets for a couple of games and they've had north stand on them instead of cat stand.
However when I was visiting Welford Rd on Tuesday they were putting up new signage at the very top of the stand for GNC who are on the training gear as well now. The two caterpillar signs at either end of stand facing the car park were still there though.

Re: Re-branding the "Caterpillar" stand
if you remember back to when it was announced that Cat had renewed their deal, it was not an exact like for like compared to the previous deal - including sponsoring the stand. My wife's business is a sponsor and they were approached to take this over - alas outside of their financial clout
Less is more....

Re: Re-branding the "Caterpillar" stand
Update; I have just received in this morning's post my new Season Tickets (cards marked as Match Access) stating I am now in the GNC stand.
So there we go, GNC are now sponsoring the big stand.

I could agree with you...but then we'd both be wrong.

Yes - that's them. Their logo/name has been on the training kit the squad have been seen in.

Major international organisation that recognises a good marketing opportunity when they see it. Good news for Tigers, let's get them a large trophy as a thank you!
