£96 for a Champions Top ??
I am sorry but I do not see the justification in charging £96 for a top that was £50 last week. Ok it has got "Champions" on it but for goodness sake it does not cost £46 to get that printed onto them !!

There are two shirts currently - the "supporters" one for around £50 and the "playing quality" (or however it is phrased) for around £90.RugbyTiger wrote:I am sorry but I do not see the justification in charging £96 for a top that was £50 last week. I'd guess (hope!) that it is the latter they're selling as the "Qhampions" one for £96.

All these prices are ridiculous.
I'd love to see a breakdown of the manufacturing costs and ask about where they are made, and what the workers get paid.
Anyone know?
On the other hand it's not my business as I won't buy them. I'm very happy with my existing shirts, bought at a discount and with my memories.

No, check the details...RugbyTiger wrote:I am sorry but I do not see the justification in charging £96 for a top that was £50 last week. Ok it has got "Champions" on it but for goodness sake it does not cost £46 to get that printed onto them !!
The one that's £96 is the "Test" that normally retails for £91.
The one that's £61 is the "Pro", normally £55.
£6 for printing - fairly normal to be fair.

Anyone daft enough to pay £90 is plain daft.
Great we have won the trophy. Wearing my shoes with their Tigers' laces, feet in Tiger's socks, drinking my coffee from a ten year old Champions Tigers' mug, whilst sitting in my study with the Tigers' lightshade above the shelves with many box files containing Tiger's programmes I have absolutely no interest in acquiring a fourth Tigers' rugby shirt.

Aye. Last year's shirt, formally £90 is now less than £30 at a well know SW rugby retailer!Isambard wrote:Anyone daft enough to pay £90 is plain daft.

Daft ?? They would want their head testing if they went and bought one. I went to my local Rugby shop and they are struggling to sell the old kit let alone the new one (although it is selling better than the old one). Why not just buy a t-shirt with "Champions" on it rather than paying silly money for an overpriced top.Hot_Charlie wrote:Aye. And I am sure you look lovely in it!
Buy a Lovell one, or better get someone who loves you (or owes you one) to buy one for you!!
