Wasps and the LV Cup

Post by WiggoTiger »

Will anyone bother with this game?? I reckon about 10000 if we're lucky.
It will probably be another one of Tigers struggle at the office day knowing what we are like after a big HC game!

au contraire

the team out on saturday will play like Tigers

Its the only piece of silver we have to defend

So I hope there will be more than 10k fans there, the A team need us as much as the prima donnas in the first team :smt038

I'll be there :smt023

Looking forward to seeing Bowden at 10, fringe players like Andrew & Noone getting game time and maybe Lewington and Balmain getting a start too.

Tigers want to win every game - regardless of who plays or what competition it is ! (okay, not always true in the LV, but as defending champions.....)

Bring it on :smt035

I'll be there, as always hoping for a win, though maybe without the usual expectation. There is however also the hope that someone will stand out and make a big claim for a first team place, something that is always good to see. :smt023

I'll be there, what else am I going to do with myself on a Saturday? While it's a bit naive to say that the players approach every game with the same enthusiasm for some of these guys this is their one shot to show they belong at this level and you do get a couple of standout performances every year.

Tosh. I too will be there and relish the chance to see the rest of our squad play in a Tigers shirt.
Don't forget, it's not that long ago we attracted a crowd of about 14K to watch an A league match.

This does rather show your lack of understanding of rugby culture.
"If you want entertainment, go to the theatre," says Edinburgh head coach Richard Cockerill. "Rugby players play the game to win.15/1/21.

I'm sure a lot of clubs would love 10000 for a non-prem game.
I would hope the academy lads might also feel very proud to play in front of 10000 against Wasps. Enough with the negativity! Tis the pests, an old enemy to be defeated at home!

Quite a few premiership clubs would love 10000 at a prem fixture let alone the LV cup..
I remember a couple of years back Newcastle making a big announcement that they had 2000 season ticket holders for the following season.

You might be surprised by strength of team on Saturday, most of big names were all involved in traing on Tuesday, after all we are the holders, if we lose this round, then we can rest the stars.
