We were lauding Gloucester's talented young fly-half with cries of 'Boo-urns! Boo-urns!'

Of course a win by 1 point is better than a loss. But the objective should be:

1. Secure the win:
2. Concede no points;
3. Achieve the tbp.

On Saturday having achieved forward domination (sufficient to achieve all three objectives) IMHO we lapsed into mediocrity. Excuses - ref didn't help; Ford had an off daywith the boot. But again IMHO that is what they are - excuses!!

KEEP THE FAITH!!
You have 2. and 3. the wrong way around Bill.
I am neither clever enough to understand nor stupid enough to play this game

Not sure about open field play but it has been reported 10 from the scrum :smt013

If Cockers is trying to turn tigers into a slightly less boring version of Sarries, he's getting there.

....and no whooping and fist pumping at the final whistle...and no lap of honour from Tigers ?!! Unlike the home side at Kingsholm.

To avoid soap opera just retreated to my den and watched part of the game again. The second Glos penalty was a real travesty. Salvi had his hands on the ball whilst on his feet with the Glos player on the ground hanging on. Jim Hamilton joins the ruck from Tigers side and knocks Salvi off his feet and it's Salvi who's penalised for going over the top!

Surely this is a wholly wrong diagnosis: it was very Tigerish to win despite the odds when playing poorly.

Undoubtedly Cockers vitriolic attack on Mr Small after the match was entirely justified - albeit he (Cockers) will likely be censored for it.

The "UnTigerish " bit was not to turn the screw when we had, at one time, 80% of possession and territory - to absolutely squeeze the life out of an underpowered Glos. If we had been evenly matched then I would agree with you.

We can't accept mediocrity! We aspire to be the best club in Europe.
Too many supporters are ready to accept the rubbish we are served.
Allowing for injuries, salary cap, internationals et al, we are rarely showing the skill, organisation and sheer dog we used to take for granted.
We are the Tigers. It's time we started playing like them.

You could also say we are Tigers supporters and it's about time we started doing so and lifting the teams spirits rather than moaning all the time. It is getting monotonous, same old same old.
"If you want entertainment, go to the theatre," says Edinburgh head coach Richard Cockerill. "Rugby players play the game to win.15/1/21.

But he didn't! The monotonous same old same old regretably applies to the standard and style of Tigers play for the last few seasons now.
