2013 calendars - 50% price hike!

Post by BJ. »

Milday was always happy to receive a signed Tigers calendar in aid of Hambo for her birthday and, at £49.99, I was willing to buy one for all the brownie points it earned me. However, the price for a signed 2013 calendar has gone up by 50% to £75!

I'm sorry guys but you're taking the pea one double ess. This time round, she'll have to settle for a £14.99 unsigned copy.
Whatever you do, don't argue. We might never hear from you again.

I too have, in the past, purchased a signed calendar and noticed the price hike this time around. I too have taken the same action to minimise cost and avoid being ripped off. I know it is for a good cause and I am as such happy to help. But if you are going to increase a price by 50%, you have to justify it in the austere days and I see no justification.

The new "arty" * cough* calendar doesn't have any space for signatures anyway :)

It's possible to just donate whatever £ you want to a deserving charity and enclose the receipt/gift card as the present. Avoids inflation, greed, avarice and all known pestilence. :smt038

I have pointed this out on a different thread.

The 2013 signed calender was available on pre order fot £52.50

Hardly a 50% price hike.
Still keeping the faith!
