What a story!
I feel obliged to share this amazing scoop with you all. It's from today's Derby Telegraph and is surely the greatest piece of local journalism you'll ever come across.
Read all about it!
Read all about it!
Whatever you do, don't argue. We might never hear from you again.

Re: What a story!
I don't remember it exactly word for word but the general gist was:
A small pile of leaves was reported ablaze on Sir Frank Whittle Way at 06.45 this morning (Mon 29 Oct). Fire engines from Nottingham Road station attended the scene.
There were no injuries.
Now if that isn't a 'Hold the front page' story, I don't know what is.

Re: What a story!
I was in Melton Mowbray when the boards outside of the newsagents, tempting you to buy The Melton Times, blared out "Council Wheelie Bin Row!"
Kicks and scrums and ruck and roll.....Is all my brain and body need!

I am neither clever enough to understand nor stupid enough to play this game
Re: What a story!
They had to have 6 councillors in charge of: Equality, Corporate Entity, Community, Ethnicity, Carbon Emissions from playschools, a director of traffic, and a cox who is some poor s*d who is trying to mend pot holes in our roads all on his own whilst the other idle council tax grabbers have focus meetings about the choice of wallpaper.
