12/13 Away shirt

Post by Grannyman »

So, we're now in the middle of June. Any news on the new away shirt?

Tigers launched the new home kit for the last two games of the 2011/12 season, and will unveil the new away colours in conjunction with kit suppliers Canterbury this Friday.

Just received the above on an official email from the club.

Well thats what everybody was expecting, same design different colours, and back to the blue. I shall be sticking with the home one I think.

I like the new home shirt and even bought one on release, but this new away shirt is hideous.

Looks like I'll be having an extra £50-ish beer money. :drinkers: :drinkers: :drinkers:

Not very keen, which is strange as i really like the new home shirt and will be getting one for my birthday next month.
I think it's the mix of the colours that i don't like. May look better in person than on the computer screen.

There's more new gear on the Canterbury website:

Some of it looks quite nice if expensive. Not convinced on the new away shirt though.

Toby looks well embarrassed in the official photo, that kit is a whole new level of bad. I was hoping for maybe a white with black stripes, that thing looks like it's been used as a target at a paint ball tournament. Can anybody honestly say they'd wear it to the pub?

Well there's one good thing about the new strip - we'll possibly get to wear the green and red strip for more away games as I'm sure that blue will clash with more home kits (Bath for certain).

I also see that it's called the alternate rather than the away kit - significant perhaps?

Unlike the Shop the Canterbury site also shows

a picture of the Classic jersey.

and

what would have been a superb away pattern
