10'000 tickets
This was the allocation Quins got from Premiership Rugby. How many did we get?
Seems a little unfair!

Where did you get this information from? I understand both teams were given 7,500 and Tigers applied for another 1,000 after selling out. Today 300 tickets were returned from both clubs.

Seems you are right, must have been what the clubs expected to sell, or something to do with finishing first?

sorry, meant to post the link.
Re: 10'000 tickets
Dont really get the point of only giving the clubs 10,000 tickets. That means that only a quarter of the people at the stadium will actually be from the clubs. Why not give the clubs 15,000 and let them return the unsold tickets?

Re: 10'000 tickets
It doesn't mean only a quarter of the attendance wil be from the clubs, many of us get our tickets from ticket master or the rfu site. The point of sending tickets to the clubs is surely to try and guarantee season ticket holders a seat.
The sooner we get done, the more we can do !

Think it must be this, we received 10,000 last year.hooking_king wrote:, or something to do with finishing first?

Re: 10'000 tickets
I had faith in the Tigers and bought early bird tickets around christmas time as I think maybe a lot of other tiger fans did. So 10,000 for the remaining tiger fans is not bad.
The only disadvantage is that you don't know who you will be sitting next to, heaven forbid it might be a Fezzhead with a vvzula - but I doubt it

Thankyou AP. Having banged my head in frustration for almost 2 weeks, this really made me laugh and turn my attention to the final on Saturday.APJones wrote:I had faith in the Tigers and bought early bird tickets around christmas time as I think maybe a lot of other tiger fans did. And if some fezhead comes near me with a VV, it's going where the Sun doesn't shine.
Right: lets get ready for the final; shirt, spare shirt, flag oh and has anyone got a free horn I can blow?
Re: 10'000 tickets
Or maybe Tigers kept some of the tickets allocated to the club back for corporates/sponsors/players' family & friends?
Possibly the Quins figure included their full allocation & the Tigers figure was only the tickets left for the regular fans?
Both clubs get the same allocation regardles of where they finish in the table.
