An interesting list. Makes you wonder why anybody re-employs them!

A list of Guinness / Aviva Premiership managers would surely be just as interesting!

Re: Worst football managers
I do feel sorry for Terry Connor. McCarthy's sacking seemed odd and came at a difficult time in the season. Given that he was McCarthy's second in command, he would have had a lot of work to do to try and convince the players that he was the man for the job when his boss wasn't!
I doubt the 'best' coaches would have been able to save Wolves if they were in this situation.

As I always say, statistics are very valuable so long as you are careful how you collect them and how you interpret them.
Connor is on that list because he inherited a poor squad, in poor spirit, and actually got them playing quite well.
But how about the managers of clubs like Liverpool and Chelsea that have been able to splash out tens of millions of pounds on players who turned out to be no good, and who have won no trophies?
They are the real losers.

Kicks and scrums and ruck and roll.....Is all my brain and body need!
