Dickson & Morgan had a big impact when they came on.
It was more structured in the 1st half when YBY was looking to pass & Hodgson was 20 yards behind the play...
Hartley was a shambles in the scrum (popping up) & not much better with his throws.
Hodgson - I despair - it feels like its kick & chase every time (but then when we do spin it, the 12/13 combo makes no ground at all).
1 line break all game (according to the stats - I guess it was Morgan ?) says it all....
Farrell, you could argue, is worth a place for his kicking, but ball playing/creative 12 he is not.
Toby & Manu have to be brought into the backline & Ashton has to be removed until he rediscovers the joy of playing rugby.
Maybe put Brown at 15 & move Foden into one wing spot & Sharples into the other ???

Youngs should score nil for that performance. Generous in scoring him 5.I think a nice long break will be ideal for him, the lack of form is somewhat worrying.

I entirely agree with all the above. By the end I was willing Italy on thinking that, in the interest of natural justice, they deserved the win. If only they could find a reliable kicker!

I assumed it was because he was running out of gas and kicking away any possession Italy got.
