Only English Club with two wins in Europe
Not bad, all things considered.

Yeah but one of those was against another English club so it doesn't count.drc_007 wrote:Quins?

How very bizarre! Team nationalities matter not when the match is played in the Heineken EUROPEAN Cup, so counts very much.biffer wrote:Yeah but one of those was against another English club so it doesn't count.drc_007 wrote:Quins?

Are you from 1836?WhitecapTiger wrote:How very bizarre! Team nationalities matter not when the match is played in the Heineken EUROPEAN Cup, so counts very much.biffer wrote:Yeah but one of those was against another English club so it doesn't count.drc_007 wrote:Quins?

Is this another (inaccurate!) attempt by Biffer to be controversial?

Re: Only English Club with two wins in Europe
I have tried to understand your reference....to no avail. Therefore I cannot answer other than to say, I don't think so. Merely pointing out an inaccuracy in your post, Quins are an English club, they have won 2 matches in the European competition, therefore we are not the only English club with 2 wins in europe. Despite your rather strange comments.
It's inaccurate indeed fleabane. Controversial? Hmmmm, can think of other words. No doubt there'll be a 'thanks for your input' or some other inane response. Seems to be the way when the opposing argument is more factually correct.fleabane wrote:Is this another (inaccurate!) attempt by Biffer to be controversial?

I'd forgotten about Gloucester to be honest (easily done).
The 1836 thing was because your language seemed a bit archaic, but I didn't expect anyone to notice due to the general lack of any humour on here

There is plenty of humour, but little tolerance of inane, juvenile threads and posts. This applies, in particular, to those which are intended solely to rile, or where the poster continues to post facetiously.

Re: Only English Club with two wins in Europe
It appears the wide page problem has returned and I assume the URL on the post three above this one is responsible. Could the author or a moderator please amend the URL either by using tinyurl or simply deleting it as it isn't germane to the post.
Whatever you do, don't argue. We might never hear from you again.

URL Taken out of my original post to see if widescreen rectified, not worked. Have to get buffer to delete too?
